A sad farewell to 'Butts'

It is was with great sadness that I heard of the recent death of Mike 'Butts' Buttery. It was a paragraph in his book about Mousehole that first inspired me to write The Smugglers of Mousehole. He was such a well-known man in the village that I know he will be missed by many. Rest in peace, Mike. This photo of him was taken earlier in 2015 by The Cornishman newspaper.
